Polls simply report and analyze data that is given to them. This is done under the pretense that the subjects are being truthful. If the subjects are not being truthful, what can the pollsters do? They can't read minds. If they could, they would be in Vegas not asking people who they will vote for.
If the subjects are fucking with the pollsters, that's a variable that can't be controlled. It doesn't mean the poll is wrong. it means the poll had a garbage output because it had a garbage input.

Regarding the picture, I think it has to do with it being a workday. Trump supporters had to be at work. Obama supporters didn't have a job....also, looking at the picture, the difference is only in the cheap seats closest to the monument, supporting my assertion.
