Grumpy has a great idea!! China has an old wall they are not using. We could move it, or just outsource the whole wall thing to China and let them keep it there. They seem to have it all figured out. Makes as much sense as trying to build a wall here.

Funny that the Mexican Pres called off his meeting yesterday with Trump to negotiate the wall costs, Trump said fine, then I will force you to the table with a tariff, and guess who had to swallow his pride and call President Trump? The Mexican Pres called Trump today and had an hour discussion.
Anyone who thinks a politician is a leader in this day and age is an idiot!!! Far to long we have paid for countries to be our friends. Is that you have your friends? We finally have a guy who has enough money that to try and bride him would be foolish. Trump now wants to show what has been wrong with this country to everyone, having a bunch of bought and paid for, non talent or business savvy "politicians" running a huge business. Funny how the ultra rich say they are Democrats but don't pay taxes or little taxes, have huge houses with lots of rooms talking about the homeless problems (but they won't let anyone stay there), or the issue of ILLEGAL aliens. What the hell does ILLEGAL not mean anything anymore? If you or your mom and dad came here ILLEGALLY, well sorry chump, your ass can go back and you can apply to LEGALLY come back. There are plenty of born here US citizens who need housing, education, medical and help. There are loads of US veterans and families who need help. Our country is going broke and you liberals still want more? Give to people who are ILLEGAL instead of US citizen's, lets break the law and create sanctuary cities. Well good luck. Funding should be taking away from law breakers. There is a way to change laws, there are ways to become a LEGAL US citizen. Lets stop paying for schools that don't work and tear down our heritage and morals, lets stop bending the rules for just a few people, lets stop paying countries to be our friends. lets focus on us, the American people. Lets bring back jobs, lets quit allowing foreigner's to take up space in our schools, learn our technologies and then go back to their countries with that knowledge to compete against us. Lets stop them from taking space away from our kids and their needed education. You all need to get on this boat or soon, the US will not mean anything anymore.

Build the wall high enough to rival China's Geat Wall. Build it deep enough to deter tunnels. Make it a tourist spot with campgrounds, theme parks, shopping malls, etc. It will pay for itself, but may not put a dent into the illegal immigration problem.
