Some callers are polite enough to hang up when you tell them I'm not interested. The persistent ones I will try to keep them on the line until they give up.
The Viagra sales people that call my cell phone I will go through the whole process of placing an order then tell them I don't have a credit card only checks. When he finally go to get his superior I hang up and block him.
On your cellphone under log and call setting you can block unknown numbers.
