Only takes an hour to drive to Burbank location from Buena Park, but no, they'd rather wait for four hours

Blogs are not for advertising !

^^ Agree..it's ok but I wouldn't wait four hours for a Danish and coffee...just cause there's a long line due to novelty all the rest of the morons file in line as well...lol

I heart their carrot cake and their potato balls ❤❤❤

No more having to drive to Downey? Awesome!!
As a person who lived in Miami for a good part of my life I can assure you that Portos is the most overrated Cuban place in L.A. Tropicana in Downey is the closest thing to authentic you can find. People don't know any better though. lol

Nila, do you prefer the potato balls shaved or natural?...inquiring minds want to know and take notes.
Teeman has no balls. He has peanuts.
As for the Latnman above peanut, you got that right chain food is always overated.
Shaved or nicely trimmed lol

Smoove!

Shaved

Well I clean my potatos well before mashing them...oooops, wrong blog.
(and Grump, just FYI, Jimmy Carter use to raise some large peanuts...just sayin.)

The stuff Ive had from there is good. I don't get the haters. Never waited for it. It always just appeared in my office.
Agree with the guy above talking about MIA. But of course it would be better there. FL=Cuba CA=MX

We have one on Burbank, but it's always way busy it looks so I never went.

And they have a huge variety of cholesterol-free (vegan) deliciousness. I'm so happy!! Who wants to go!!?

Lol at the haters. If it were truly that bad they wouldn't be expanding at such a rapid rate and people wouldn't be willing to wait in line. They have a great business model and the food is good and cheap. I don't deny that there are probably more authentic places out there but either they are in a crappy location, don't have good prices, or have bad customer service or a combination of all 3. If you have a place that you think is better than Porto's, step up and tell me where it's located and if it's nearby I will go and try it. But for the combination of quality, price, location, and customer service, I think there isn't much that matches Porto's.

Oh and thanks to OP for letting me know. I will tell my friends that live in the OC that they have a location near them now.
I will go try the Tropicana in Downey if I am ever around there.
I waited in line 6 hours yesterday and half the rides were closed
