Killing millions?
Wow! You need a safe space away from the bad man.
Take your medicine
|
|
Badhombre....put down the newspaper and stop listening to CNN...
Read the plan and find out the facts yourself.....
The only reason 24 million won't have insurance, is that they will decide themselves NOT to have insurance.....
|
|
Name me one socialistic country other than maybe Sweden that has great health insurance and is NOT in financial ruin.....
|
|
Besides...the bill is being revised as we speak....so all the bullshit crap shoveled by CNN and whatever left wing news agency you are reading is already wrong....
|
|
@jazz
"The only reason 24 million won't have insurance, is that they will decide themselves NOT to have insurance....."
Lmao!!!!!
You are missing the point... 24 million Americans will not have insurance, whether they choose or not! How can you justify its a good thing? When those 24 millions uninsured will get sick they will still go to the ER and we all will have to pay for it at a higher cost lol
|
|
24 million people will decide....
WE don't need the fucking government TELLING us what to do.
What if the government told you you need to stop drinking...stop smoking,...stop having sex......
WE get to decide as long as it is not unlawful....so take your government mandates and shove them.
|
|
Also....this same CBO missed the number of people who would enroll in Obamacare by a factor of about 100%....so go ahead and believe THEIR numbers....

@jazz
Denmark
Australia
Finland
France
Canada
Germany
Belgium
Switzerland
Netherlands
.....

|
@jazz
So you are OK with 24 mill people deciding not to get health insurance and once they get sick you are going to pay for it at an even higher cost????
You are not making any sense
So why should we get insurance at all?
Lmao
|
|
What you proposing will tank the economy faster than a rabitt gets fucked in heat season bro
Jazz's plan
"Let people choose NOT to get health insurance" when they get sick they can go to the ER and we fools will pay for them lol
|
|
Read what I said...
Name me one socialistic country
NONE of those are socialistic countries....
They have socialistic medicine
And you can add up the total population of ALL those countries you named and NOT equal the United States.....far easier to initiate health care in smaller geography and smaller population.
Ask some Canadians about how good the healthcare is....thousands of them leave their country to obtain more timely treatment and surgeries.
|
|
Hombre...
The majority of Americans get health care coverage from their Employer...
Other than medicaid additions, Obamacare ONLY added about 10 million to the ranks....and those numbers are kind of sketchy since self employed people who had their previous plans declared inadequate went to the exchanges for coverage.....
Here are the numbers...
50% get coverage from employers
20% from medicaid
14% from medicare
2% veteran/military
86% are getting their coverage from something we are NOT even talking about
There are 7% getting non group coverage and 9% are uninsured.....
We have 14% of Americans under the poverty level.....forcing people to buy crappy insurance doesn't help.
High deductibles, high co-pays, and extremely limited number of doctors.
Are YOU on Obamacare? Might want to research the facts before saying what we have is so good.
|
|
Hombre.....
We didn't tank the economy in the previous 240 years of the country due to medical costs....so I doubt we will tank the economy with some uninsured people.
We have about 15% uninsured motorists in California and a comparable percentage nationwide.....
That hasn't bankrupted anything and NO ONE is making a big deal about that.....

Jazz
All developed countries except for USA provides universal healthcare.
Again you are not answering the question,
"Why should we even get health insurance without a mandate, if when we get sick we can go to the ER?"
How on earth is that sustainable?
You are throwing atound unrelated numbers
Please address the questions amigo

I dont agree with anything you stand for, including your avatar but I don't wish you death or ill
I'm a firefighter

I'm all for capitalism and a free market 100!!!
However healthcare is something we will all need sooner or later. To make the dishonest argument that you can choose to have it or not, and that's freedom is extremely irresponsible and short sighted
|
|
All developed countries except for USA provides universal healthcare.
Not sure what your definition is of developed.
There are 197 countries in the world and only 58 have universal healthcare or something LIKE universal healthcare.
|
|
Yes, we all need health coverage...so pay for it.
We all need auto insurance...we have to pay for it.
We all need food to eat....so pay for it.
We need housing....so pay for it.
There are a handful of very unfortunate and deserving people who might need some government assistance with medical coverage.
But what we currently have is an abysmal failure....It is unsustainable and the costs are prohibitive. It was sold on a series of lies....and it doesn't get any better.
|
|
So if someone cannot afford healthcare, they should just not get care? Is that really a choice of theirs?
Just asking...
|
|
The free health care market proposed under Trumpcare will destroy our economy and kill millions..
You certainly have not answered any questions about YOUR numbers....
Killing millions.....damn I highly doubt you have ANY facts for that.....
And show me how this destroys our economy...we did not have a destroyed economy BEFORE Obamacare and won't after it is gone....
|
|
@jazz
"Yes, we all need health coverage...so pay for it.
We all need auto insurance...we have to pay for it.
We all need food to eat....so pay for it.
We need housing....so pay for it. "
Trumpcare proposes people from opting out in buying health insurance, albeit, it is a fact they will need it sooner or later.
Please explain how that makes any sense
|
|
Healthcare should not be an option as every human will need it.
Making the argument that you should choose is disingenuous and intellectually dishonest
|
|
7.5 million people paid the Obamacare penalty.....and it would probably go higher as the coverage gets worse, the premiums go up and the number of doctors shrinks to nothing...
So tell me how good THAT is.
People are already making the choice under the current plan...that costs way more than it is worth.
|

This is a very interesting blog.
|
|
Frog..,.every one of my statistics posted on this blog are REAL....the OP is making shit up about how many millions are going to be killed by Trump....

There should be a difference between health care and health insurance.
When you get your car's oil changed, your auto insurance doesn't cover it. When you get your bathroom's leaky faucet fixed, your home insurance doesn't pay it. So why does your health insurance cover everything?
Fact is, if Americans paid cash for medical care and insurance was reserved for casatrophic injuries or illness, costs would go way down and premiums would as well.
|
|
For the amount of money we spend in healthcare in this country we should have the best in the world. But we dont.
For any that want to read the facts.

Preventive care and screenings help reduce catastrophic events. FACT
Capitalism can work for most sectors and industries, but in my opinion, it should have nothing to do with Healthcare and our Judicial system. Just because capitalism works for autos, or homes .... it doesn't mean it will work for everything. So the people that are stubbornly espoused to philosophical agendas where everything should be a free market, miss the point!

I hope none of you need any kind of long term care.
Even your Cadillac insurance policies only have a max life of $3 million.
Most of the common ones are $900k - $2 million.
That isn't a lot of money and what happens when it runs out?
Time to pull the plug eh?
Better hope that isn't you.
