Seriously....
I hope you have looked at the Obamacare projections for cost overruns in the next couple of years. And pay close attention to the small number of people who are actually COVERED under the ACA. Lots of people believe we have tens of millions insured....the number is really only about 10 million with many 'additions' actually Medicaid.
Fewer doctors, fewer carriers, skyrocketing premiums for those in, and most young people still opting for the penalty rather than securing coverage....FAILED PLAN and in need of significant change.

Obamacare been VERY, VERY good to me.
Trampcare sounds like it's gunna suck for older people and those people who have barely enough money to live on right now. Many of them will have to forgo insurance down the road. But if you are wealthy, YOU GET ALL THE TAX BREAKS...and your insurance!!!!
Republicans will give you vouchers for insurance, BUT WILL THEY BE ENOUGH TO ALLOW YOU TO BUY INSURANCE????? Probably not in many cases. That's called "keeping the budget revenue neutral." And may God bless.

Hey, I am 66, and now OFF Obamacare and onto Medicare.
But before then, Obamacare premiums.....from my previous plan that was a major medical with a large deductible, I had to leave that and go onto one of the exchange carriers.....my premium increased by 60% the first year and by the last year, I was paying more than DOUBLE what I had paid.....and my annual deductible was the same under ACA as with my previous plan.
So, I think the ACA cost me somewhere in excess of $40,000 that I will never see again....so don't talk to me about how great that piece of shit legislation is.....

StarFish....your premium "only" went up by $7k/? That's over $580 per month. You could have had about 3 quality HX ladies a month for the whole year with that extra money!!
For all of you who think Trumpcare, or whatever it will be called is bad....do you remember what insurance premiums were before Obamacare?? I do...they were WAAAAYYYY cheaper....thanks to free market competition. So....let's all just wait and see.

What is your deductible and out of pocket maximum?

HOW do you even know WHAT will happen....the bill hasn't passed yet and the Senate likely will make changes (some have already been made in the House committee).
Now if you are saying you are getting FREE medical coverage under the ACA and won't under the new American Care Act, you still don't know how the system will respond to emergency situations.....
People are running around believing millions of people will die BECAUSE of a health care plan.....
NOT going to happen.....

the peoples lives thing is overblown
i detailed two close encounters with people that don't have a pot to pee in...one had cancer and years later had near fatal hrt attack. no money out of his pocket and cured of cancer and brought back from death on the table with subsequent therapy.
the other one with zero kidney function for past 5 years...three times a week dialysis. no monies out of pocket of either.
can there be people that die without proper care? there are people that die improperly when they actually have care.
both doing well now
20 trillion dollar debt...we don't have 100's of billions each year to make this happen without increasing the debt with no end to the increasing rate of yearly deficit.
