"Fixing climate change"
Oh boy! Someone is drinking the Cool Aid.
This is good stuff.
Frog, you continue to amaze me with your delusional posts.

Ok....now which is it...global warming or climate change.....
When it is hot, they all piss about global warming...
But when we have the blizzard from hell in the East and even snow in Hawaii, it is no longer global warming...it is climate change.....
Can anyone say.....constantly changing climate...up and down.....

This is pure Comedy.
The weather did the same thing 30 + years ago.
Never heard the term used back then. I remember a major drought in the 70's as well. They thought it was all the smog in LA and elsewhere.
Now the smog is gone. And the drought cycle started again.
Duh.
Huh??

Climate: the weather conditions prevailing in an area in general or over a long period:
Weather: the state of the atmosphere at a place and time as regards heat, dryness, sunshine, wind, rain, etc.:
There.....
|
|
98% of the world's weather scientists agree about human activity's detrimental effect on world climate change (and most of the other 2% were found to have financial ties to, and dependence upon, oil companies).
LOL at you climate change deniers who fancy themselves smarter than science.
|
|
No one is denying climate change....but many of the people running around are chicken little's. They seem to be saying we are all going to die tomorrow if we don't shut down every coal mine or stop every oil well.
There needs to be a comprehensive WORLD approach, but with China, India, and other nations basically giving the middle finger with their excessive spewing into the atmosphere.....it isn't as easy as telling all OUR industry to suck it up, lose business and be good citizens....
|
|
Yes, they are denying climate change, right here in this blog and in Washington.
|
|
I didn't deny climate change....and reading eliteviews comments, I don't see a clear cut denial of climate change....I think he is mocking the changing weather....
|
|
^^ That is a climate change denier's argument: that weather is constantly changing and we're just in a part of a cycle like in any other time period. But weather scientists know better. And so should he.

Damn I fucked this blog all up.
noun, plural skies. Often, skies 1. the region of the clouds or the upper air; the upper atmosphere of the earth: airplanes in the sky; cloudy skies.

Frog,
You have lost your mind.
You started to makes some points that seemed somewhat rational, then you lost it.
Get some help man. Your mental stability is gone.

LOL at EffeteViews casting aspersions on anyone ELSE's mental stability.

According to Ken Rubin, an assistant professor of geology and geophysics at the University of Hawaii, "it snows here every year, but only at the very summits of our three tallest volcanoes (Mauna Loa, Mauna Kea and Haleakala)."
"The snow level almost never gets below 9,000 feet in Hawaii during the winter, but since these mountains are taller than 13,600 feet, 13,700 feet and 10,000 feet, respectively, they get dusted with snow a few times a year. It rarely stays on the ground for more than a few days though."

LOONEY Loki51,
Get it correct . Its Eliteviews.

Here's what the United States Environmental Protection Agency has to say:
"Is there a scientific consensus on climate change?"
"Yes. All major scientific agencies of the United States—including the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA)—agree that climate change is occurring and that humans are contributing to it. In the 2014 National Climate Assessment, the Global Change Research Program concluded that "global climate is changing and this is apparent across the United States in a wide range of observations. The global warming of the past 50 years is primarily due to human activities, predominantly the burning of fossil fuels."[1] Hundreds of independent and governmental scientific organizations have released similar statements, both in the United States and worldwide.[1][2][3] Multiple analyses of peer-reviewed science literature have repeatedly shown that more than 97 percent of scientists in the field agree that the world is unequivocally warming, and that human activity is the primary cause.[3]
This broad consensus that climate change is happening and is caused primarily by excess greenhouse gases from human activities is based on multiple lines of evidence, from basic physics to the patterns of change through the climate system (including the atmosphere, oceans, land, biosphere, and cryosphere). However, this doesn't necessarily mean that every scientist agrees on every component of the climate change problem. Scientists are still researching a number of important questions, including exactly how sensitive Earth's climate is to human emissions of various heat-trapping gases, what the consequences of warming will be in specific regions of the world, and how other future changes in oceans and clouds will affect climate change. Scientists continue to research these questions so society can be better informed about how to plan for a changing climate. However, enough certainty exists about basic causes and effects of climate change to justify taking actions that reduce risks".

^ and if those so numerated 98% said it was false, what would happen to that government funding?
|
|
So, what's the score on those Al Gore predictions?
Did your mommy give you too much kool-aid?
|
|
LOL, I guess you didn't read the NASA and NOAA and EPA and other USA findings...
|
|
I disregard Anything the EPA says. That is the most useless, fucked up agency in this Country
|
|
Of COURSE you do...

I read and listen to all sources.
My conclusions are based on facts and not influenced by politics.
You dolts listen to your President, someone very unqualified to give any opinion on the subject.
Get a clue dick heads
