Fully storm prepped here:
I weighted my refrigerator box down with forties filled with pee and covered it with cast off plastic grocery bags.

No. We're in a drought because, well, they happen from time to time.
But it's a provable fact that the earth is getting hotter due to the growing number of greenhouse gases in our atmosphere (largely CO2). The rise in ocean temperatures and other changing factors has affected the intensity of some storms and is changing our global climate in other ways.
One such way is the disruption of previously normal weather patterns. In that way, global warming which leads to climate change might be partially responsible for our drought or at least the duration of it, but that's very difficult to show conclusively.
Of course, I could be wrong...
