Yep 2 loser teams one that should have stayed where it was and the other one should never have darkened our area again.

It's a sad state of affairs when the local paper of the town you just moved to has a column dedicated to your move that outlines the many ways your not wanted here.
Granted plashke's a moron who has shown he knows absolutely nothing about any sport over and over. But in this case he's probably not wrong. The chargers don't have very many fans in the la area, most are in south orange county, so I expect the seats at their home games to have more fans of the opposing teams and be half empty.
This was nothing more than a greed move, which the nfl is all about, and shows how stupid people are when it comes to supporting a sports franchise that doesn't give a shit about the fans just about the $$$.

They should have moved to the OC, and set up shop at the one of the big stadiums there. Or hell, change the proposed real estate that is supposed to replace Irvine Meadows Ampitheatre and turn it into a sports complex.
Yeah, this was poorly handled.

Fuckin' Chargers. NO loyalty to the fans or city that have rooted for them for years and years.
Typical of sports teams, and it's why i really don't give a damn about any sports team anymore, in any sport. Fuck them all.

When I lived in Cali, I used to love to go to SD for games with the Broncos. The crowed was always predominately Orange. It was about as close to a home game for the Donks as they could get on the road. My friends who were KC and Raider fans always said the same thing: the loudest part of the crowd was cheering the road team. The Bolts are gone because their fans were dolts.

Kind of silly to have two Football teams in L.A., just like two Basketball teams.
I think the Angels are next....wait, they already call themselves the Anaheim Angels of Los Angeles
|
|
or is it the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim...

My cousin is one of the outraged whities.
From my understanding, the voters rejected a new stadium, so the devoted fans were outnumbered and/or didn't bother voting. I am Saints fan (burned my Rams jersey when they left, and not a fan now that they are back), so I went to the Chargers-Saints game at Qualcomm in October. I swear there were as many Saints jerseys in the stands as bolts.
What is the over/under on how many years until the bolts move back to SD? I'm guessing 10
