There may not have been rioting in the streets but I clearly remember there was rioting in the US Senate. Mitch McConnell stated his number one priority (when the economy was burning to the ground) was to ensure Obama was a one-term president. It wasn't get people back to work. Or stop the housing fall. Or prevent The Great Recession from happening.

Perhaps it's because Obama didn't say the inflammatory things that Trump has said to piss these people off.

Please tell me you guys don't seriously think "liberals" are to blame for the disgraceful violence and property damage. Protests like the ones that turned violent yesterday often attract a bad element which can hardly be called liberal. The jerks setting fires etc are often described as anarchists in the media, and they are clearly interested in something other than peaceful free speech. And their activities are not limited to inaugural protests - I remember the same sorts of folks violently protesting against trade deals and other things (just to pick one example, remember Seattle in 1999?).
We don't hate on conservatives because a lunatic fringe on the right puts on sheets and burns crosses (or worse), do we? So why would liberals be to blame for crimes committed by those who may be on the lunatic fringe of the left?
Besides, I suspect Soros is a fan of private property, since capitalism and relatively free markets have been pretty good to him. He's got about 25 billion reasons to support peaceful change

We don't know the violent few were liberals and could well be the opposite. Libs didn't have anything to gain by being violent.
Trump minions and right wingers have a history of staging violence or planting stooges that do bad things, so they can then discredit and distract from the legitimate protest message. Given Trump's playbook so far, makes perfect sense the violence was ordered by the cheeto-in-chief himself.
There were people trying to claim the anti-Tru,mp protesters were paid (by who no one would say) to protest. B.S. of course.

My take...people on the right, for the most part, have actually worked hard for what they have. If you are just given stuff from the government, you don't feel it is really YOURS and thus don't respect it.
Violence is violence, looting is looting and rioting is rioting....ALL are crimes. I guess the right honors the rule of law more than the left....

The Trump people (whoever they are) are angry, bittier, seems they are looking for a fight. Not sure if they thought they won something, but all they really did was awaken a sleeping massive opposition. Trump was divisive, his rallies violent, so now his people are becoming violent in the streets.
The progressives, liberals, thinkers, are all hanging out together, taking back the streets, taking back the country, winning the hearts and minds, and having a blast doing it. I haven't seen so much joy on social media ever.
And it's effective... people are seeing the true Trump, approval ratings record low and dropping.
