It was a terrorist who lit the fire. Too wide spread at one time.

i saw it in the early stages and most all rooms/windows consumed by flames...almost like something in each and every home in the building set on fire.

While no official cause had been announced, I am certain that it was the new exterior cladding that made the fire spread so quick. They put that styrofoam based crap on the exterior to make the building look newer and more energy efficient. It seems obvious that whatever was used was not very fire retardant.

The twin towers would also not have fallen from just a fire, it took an airplane crash to knock off the spray on fire protection on the steel beams. And yes I know jet fuel can't melt steel beams, but it can and did weaken them enough to cause a collapse.
