Every administration puts people in charge of stuff as 'rewards' for their support and assistance. Sometimes they actually do a better job than the Washington HONKS who have never held a real job other than a government position.....
Obama's ambassador to Hungary was Colleen Bradley Bell, who had been the television soap opera producer of “The Bold and the Beautiful” and helped in some fundraising and money handling during his reelection campaign.
So where were all of you then.

I didn't bring up appointments.
I was merely pointing out the current media and liberals are pouncing on stuff that no one gave a rat's ass about when Obama was doing the exact same thing.
When one set of standards apply to one person and another set apply to the other person...that is a 'double standard'.
And the fact that no one is mentioning Obama's appointments and now jumping on Trump's that is hypocrisy.

nobody is whining...teeitup decided to post something where he posed a question...should be be concerned.....the answer is no, but others obviously feel differently. I was pointing out the double standard....but that double standard has been in effect since Trump took office.

almost 60 percent of HRC voters "don't respect" those that voted for trump.
hence our little budding war...it's very real.
If my wife was talking about hillary this and that...we would be having a fucking problem after almost 30 years together...not sure 31 would be in the cards.

This would have been a non-entity under Obama.
The only reason Bell got any press was because of the soap opera and it being an ambassador position...

The Trump thing already shows 1,730,000 results and it is recent. Let's wait another week and that number will probably double.....

Elections have consequences. My former country should not be surprised at any of this. Your president is a corrupt real estate and reality show star. He will do anything and everything to enrich himself and anyone he deems a friend. The entertainment value will increase ten-fold when he fires his investigators but never think the GOP will desert him. As long as he gets the estate tax repealed he will never be thrown out of office nor will he have any problems getting re-elected. His Russian friends will provide him with another "upset" victory in 2020.

you are clearly retired and had a move planned...there is no one moving out of the country because donald is president.
i have seen a couple articles of older people saying they will travel the world for the next four years...then come to find it was in the works anyway and they got their face in the news.
no life has changed(unless an illegal)...the only thing that could go wrong and no fault of donald is a nuke being sent to LA from Nkorea...that would be the only real reason.

healthcare is not an easy lift...taxes need healthcare to go first for it to be meaningful/impactful
infrastructure has the ability to get both parties on board as the dems need some of that for their constituents/cities and states, but that is about the only thing the dems need and are willing to work with the president on. Why use your only real bullet so early?
If i am trump, I would wait till after the budgets go through and maybe a few votes if needed for tax and health.
when it gets to be 10/1 and nothing on the books then rail away. It's not on trump for lack of trying and if you truly think that you are not paying attn to what is going on with the rep congress/senate.
trump came out last week and wanted a more generous health plan vs what was sent to senate? what say you? you care?
sounds like healthcare is going to be voted on in senate in next few weeks time....we shall see.
