need to have a few of these young guys come up and make it happen if want to win a championship...good thing for injuries sometimes...it's how you find them sooner than later.

I went to Dodger Stadium to watch the Angels last year and EEEEWWW what an Old, Ugly, Nasty Stadium! I will Never go there Again!

as a kid, we lived exactly half way between Anaheim Stadium and Dodger Stadium. Back then it was kinda cool driving through the streets of LA to get to the stadium. Past the Police Academy and into the stadium.
Anaheim Stadium (the Big A) wasn't much of a stadium, didn't have the new additions, still had the "BIg A" out in centerfield. No outfield seats, no Honda Center or that ugly transportation monstrosity of a depot to look at. Fregosi, Ryan, Grich, Baylor, etc. I knew them all back then.
Today it's harder to go out and spend a ton of money and enjoy.
I was an Angel fan back in the day when the "Singing Cowboy" owned the team. It seemed like the players played out of loyalty rather than the big bucks (they still made millions).

The Angels are 38-28 against the Dodgers since 2005, including winning the '16 Freeway Series by a 3-1 margin. And if you don't know, now you know!

So I live in San Diego and we have a beautiful new park (PETCO - since 2004).
The problem is the Padres really, really suck.

I went to Petco Park like 5 years ago when the Angels last played there. Kindof Stupid when we have to play the Dodgers Every Year, and they are in SoCal too.
