Hardly a healthcare bill, just a tax break for the 2%
|
|
DipShit Yahoo. McConnell announced it to Rep. senators (with Pence present) at weekly lunch...so not going to happen till next month at earliest (and more changes).
|
|
Gotta love republicans, they really are struggling with their own party
|
|
Prefer the "pass it to find out what's in it" method?
|
|
Better than the latter

Senate doesn't come back until July 10 through July 28. Then gone all August. We'll see if it gets done.

Ok..I can't resist..
DR - you are right about the Republicans struggling with their own party. So are the Dems...but over the last couple of decades, the GOP has turned it into an art form.
Detroit - boy , that would be nice. Unfortunately, 1) most of the people who will lose coverage are already employed, and 2) not all employers are required to provide health insurance...only those who employ a minimum number of people...The number is 50 or more FULL TIME employees. Even then they don't have to provide FREE insurance...they only have to pay for part of it. And the older you are, the higher those premiums. So, if you are older, making 30k per year, and your half of the insurance premium amounts to $5K per year....well, there isn't much left to live on. Not to mention that it is cheaper for some employers to pay the tax penalty than it is to pay their half of the tax penalty for not providing.
Ok...let the flaming begin...

It really isn't a very popular healthcare bill. Fuck the wealthy like they need more money. Smh

Need more appointments ^^^

You just don't get it.
There is no solution to healthcare
10,000 people turn 65 everyday
Most of the cost is in the last 2-years of life with no meaningful benefit
Most of Medicaid's cost is spent on long term care, skilled nursing etc.
The only possible way for healthcare to fix itself is job creation with employer provided health insurance
Get off the government subsidies it's no way to live

I love when my blogs bring the country together and promote peace, love, and harmony. Shalom

At least the Republicans are thinking for themselves....not lock stepped and kissing Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer's asses. The Dems can't think for themselves...they have to ask Nancy what they are supposed to think and say....

Raspados !!!

+ 1 on Pelosi needs to go....But
|
|
The problem is most employers are too cheap and don't want to provide insurance. Which the mandate probably helped and hurt it.
Disabled people, old people in nursing homes, and yes poor people rely on Medicaid. It's not just freeloaders. Lol for some it's life or death, u stupid fucks.
