He brought the gas prices down.
And for my friends south of the border.

32 cents a gallon is OK, not much more than the low price of 29 cents a gallon I remember. In late 1973 it went to the shocking price of 55 cents a gallon which sounds like a bargain now. Maybe in a few years $3.00 a gallon may seem like a bargain.

Yeah lamar that's when they had gas Wars

.179/ gallon on Woodward avenue in 72.
Loving the California Gas tax since I wont be paying it except on visits. We pay lots more up here but we actually pave our roads and keep our bridges from collapsing. Plus I can walk from my condo to just about any place I want to go. I made lots of money in LA but living with its traffic was the worst !

Don't think gas prices will ever go lower than $3/ gallon ever, specially in the big cities. Driving is a necessity in this country because public transportation is lacking and it has become very, very expensive to build. Very good jobs are rare if you live in a nice home/ apartment outside of the big city.
I don't mind taking the bus or subway to work as long as it's convenient, reliable and close by.
When was the last time some of you took public transportation, why and why not?
Gas prices will continue to rise as long as there is a demand to get where you want to go, with a car, and most of the time is to get to work.
Supply and demand economics.

I hate when there is a backup on the 241. All you fuckers going to Corona need to GTFO and not lane jockey the left lanes.
Us folk going 91W will appreciate it!

I haven't looked at gas prices since my shell card

Nope Fubar, sorry man.
I honestly could not be confident in my guess within $1-2/gallon.
Does that upset you?

Funny how some people will complain about gas prices but will:
Drive solo in a Tahoe, Escalade, Suburban, etc
Spend $15 each for breakfast, lunch, and double for dinner plus the Starbucks in between
Break/replace their phone every year( or more)
Drive less than a mile to 7-11 to buy overpriced snacks, cigs, and lottery tickets
Suck it up or buy a Tesla

^ No, I do none of that.
Gas prices are 'low' due to fracking.
But higher than they should be due to CA's regulations and taxes - fuck Brown.
I ride.

trick is leave just enough gas so the wife has to fill it up before she goes somewhere...on about a 4month roll of not getting gas.
