well it can't be a nominal amount like a 1000 bucks. lets say you saved up and have 52k cash in your mattress from all your hard work over the years...so meaningful to you.

Sure..$50k cash for $100k bitcoin...I wouldn't think twice about it. Virtual currency has been proven and will surpass paper currency and be worth a lot more in the future.

the other thing in that example is that you would have had 50k plus in cash(most likely untaxed) and now have 100k in an online currency (that could get taxed)
hopefully some people on here got in sub 10 bucks...would have been a fun ride.
