Replace a 20 minute eye shadow tutorial with a 20 minute how to use a VPN tutorial on YouTube.
It will literally save your online life. It isn't just about covering your HX tracks, it covers you from prying eyes that want to look at your email, your credit card info, your private pictures in that folder you think you know how to hide...everything in your digital life. It is all up for grabs without proper protection. a VPN isn't 100% effective but we all take that 99% effective moniker all the way to the bank on here don't we. This is at least as effective as trojans (or magnums if you need your ego stroked).
I've attached a link to a 2yr VPN subscription below. Cut and paste it. I'm not advertising...just giving you an easy access route to getting covered online.
If you don't care, start to. If you think it's complicated, I explained it to my elderly uncle who is in his 70s and he is down with PIA VPN now. He has his credit card info stolen online twice at the home and has never had it happen again after starting with the VPN.

Couple using a vpn with also using the Tor browser. That gives you another level of protection. Tor also has a protected email.

I use PIA - private internet access for my vpn and avast for av program. Does fine, did have to make an allowance so avast wouldn't block it but other than that it was a breeze. Pia allows you to pick what server you want to connect to, there are a lot of choices in the US and around the world. It does make surfing a bit slow but not really that noticeable.
If you couple it with Tor, which I highly recommend, it will slow browsing more and it will be noticeable but you'll be MUCH more secure. Tor is the browser almost everyone uses for anonymity when they go in the dark or deep web.

Yeah like it's only the repubs that are on the take and corrupt. Almost, if not EVERY politician in dc is corrupt and on the take, as well as the ones in state capitals. Party has nothing to do with it. Blame it on the SC, who at one time was the country's conscience but has now turned into nothing more than an extension of one or the other political party.

Maybe, not but that doesn't mean they're not on the take or corrupt, it just means they could afford not to vote for it cause they have plenty from other sources.
The reason the health care bill is such a POS is because all the dems were getting $$$$ from the industry. The guy that went to the white house the most during the writing of the bill was the ceo of the largest hospital corporation in the country which is one of the reasons hospital price gouging wasn't stopped so you can add obama onto the list of bought politicians.
