Let's see. The Dodger's sell 1,200,000 more tickets a year than the Padres do. So that pays Kershaw's salary and more. Then there is that $200,000,000 check they get every year from cable. So, well, you know. There is nothing wrong with the picture, other than the Padre's inability to draw the income the Dodgers do. And I do not even need to get into the advertising dollars.

Oh, and the Padres may win 70 games. Guessing the Dodgers will be around the 90 marker.

Heard a stat that explains how bad the Padres are. The last 3 years, the Dodgers and Padres have opened the season. Total scores 36-6. Then again, they had to face Kershaw each time.
But, yes, Go Dodgers. 1-0 is all I can ask for right now. And you have to beat the bad teams.

Kershaw earns his paycheck. He is arguably the best pitcher in baseball. If the Dodgers are going to win it all they need him and some help. Well the Padres, they just suck.
