Since much of this emotional support animal stuff is people NOT wanting to pay the fee for their pets to fly, I want my checked bag close to me, so then I don't have to pay to have IT checked....
I love this country....people do crazy shit and we let them get away with it......
A service person with PTSD might need a support animal, and the blind need their seeing eye dogs...but all the rest of this is crazy shit.....
If you need some animal support to fly, take the damn train!!!!

Simple solution.....create a service animal registration process...you have to bring the doctor's prescription, the animal and yourself to some agency and get a photo ID of you with your animal.
People who REALLY need the animals will go through the process...all the others will drop out...

Best support animal is a Tasmanian Devil. Whose gunna be crazy enough to try and f_ck with you when you have one of them...course he/she/it will probably rip your leg off at some time in your relationship, but other than that...

OR, for the less squeamish, how about a de-scented skunk. Watch the crowds part as you come strolling through. (Don't both telling me how cruel it is to de-scent a skunk.)
