Hard wired smoke alarms

I have a question about hard wired smoke alarms. So maintenance replaced the main one recently, but not the other 2. The other 2 were doing the 3 beeps often, so I unplugged and removed batteries. It made the main one go off and then stop. The batteries were new and tested 100%. Of course the beeping started after the office is closed.

Will it set the master off after a certain length of time having the other two disconnected? We need to sleep and have to wake up at 5am. The manager will send someone to replace them tomorrow, but in the meantime we are scared it will go off.

Please tell me it's fine and won't go off.

The two beeping ones are 15 years old, like the one they replaced. I wish they would have done all three at the same time.

All the alarms go off at the same time a lot, like the one that cried wolf. Nobody ever believes it's a real fire.

Once one goes off, I've heard the others sense the noise and go off.

I believe the lifetime of smoke alarms is 10 years. Should replace all at the same time. If you're replacing batteries, do it every six months for all of them.

Also, smoke detectors are different from CO2 detectors. There are laws about landlords installing both.

It didn't beep or go off again last night. I still didn't sleep worried about it. Maintenance just came and installed new ones. Meanwhile the lady downstairs took all of hers down and even turned off the circuit breaker to her alarm. Hope the sprinklers work if she has a fire. Yikes! Thank you for your input.

The neighbor has had hers off a long time, and she smokes in there. I will never trust it works properly with all the false alarms all the time to the entire system.

The sprinklers are a separate system, they will still work.

I hate hard-wired smoke detectors.
I don't have my circuits ID'ed on my electrical panel.
Sometimes, mine will go off for no reason.
And only after 2 AM.

The new ones are supposed to be good for 10 years (including battery inside). I am not sure I believe the batteries last that long. It will be great if it's true, and they work this time.
