i do have to say I'm the opposite (unless it comes to my cooking contraptions) I much rather spend money for an experience than for an object. Like this year I took my mom on 2 different few day trips to explore, eat, and enjoy the environment. After about 4 days she's ready to go home

Experiences, you won't take anything to the grave with you but memories.
|
|
Why not both?
A great and loyal Dog.
Tangible AND Experience. Also a responsibility. Walk, feed, vet bills, etc.
|
|
Experiences. Once you have a decently-equipped household and a few motorized toys, what do you really need? Travel civilizes you, disabuses you of parochial notions of superiority, exposes you to different ways of thinking and different kinds of social problem-solving and can dazzle you with gratitude that you saw it/lived it/sampled it/tried it.
And it creates terrific memories and photographs that will comfort you in your old age far more than some expensive toy.
Just my 2 centavos.

I'm with OP. All the toys make experiences. Plus they can be lived over and over again.
Each one a little different than the others.

Experiences...100% for sure.

Experiences. Natural wonders, great performances and inspirational art.

Which ones are cheaper?

Definitely the experience. Tangible things come and go, but the memories last forever.

I want both

Those experiences aren't going anywhere when you're done.

Sorry DR I didn't look in there, you weren't there or I would have at least looked at it as I always do when I see you. You have a great ass.
It took us fifteen minutes of driving around to find that car. We need to get Lou a LoJack.
