Our water district has been sending packages to elementary schools to teach kids how to save water, long before any drought.

You know China copied the CA playbook of lowering emissions and announced a much more aggressive schedule starting in 2019. This will force all car makers to kowtow to produce a lot more EV cars and in turn, change the market in the whole world including USA.

If everything has absolute proof, life will be very easy.
Science is not totally about knowingness, it's also about the degree of not-knowingness and probability.
It's sound like you are not a climate denier. If the cause is greenhouse gases, the sensible action is to reduce them and continue to do so. I can't say absolute proof but there is good science on that. Philosophically, if you keep adding greenhouse gas with the probability of going Venus, does it make sense?
The point of no return has begun. Oil industries are going down left and right. And since the Tesla 3 isn't going the way of Samsung Note 7, all hell is going to break loose.

Can you point to a climate denial website with all your arguments listed? I guess not because it will be fact-checked to shit. There is a climate change website by concerned scientists. You can find out something and argue about it if you want to.
It's easy to tell the type of "expert". Major Bob, a contributor for Fox News, is just a major and cannot be representative of the US army forces. Expert or not, if he/she has a relevant education, a relevant job and relevant experience, his/her words will not be far off. Of course, you have to consider who pays him/her and who he/she consults for. It is pretty easy.
Rick Perry has a degree in Animal Science. He was a door to door salesman before joining the armed forces. And now he is the head of Department of Energy responsible for US nuclear strategy.
The other countries that do this are all communists, whose doctrine is "we don't need experts, we only need red". Loyalty to the party doctrine is all that is needed.
As for the ice age stuff, you must have been feed by the radio show on the way home or of course Fox News commentary, where nobody is an expert in anything. Everybody wants to make a name for himself given half the chance if anybody listens. Like the Christian Numerologist who predicted we should now all dead for a few days now. In academia, if you find an excuse to publish something that your peers have to accept, you do it for fame and increase your FX points. It's about one paper who saw a possible trend. And that one turned out not to be a long-term trend.
And what are you hanging on to? ICE is so much more complicated than an electrical motor. If you notice the much smaller size of vacuum cleaners now you will understand the advance of motor and battery. Imagine we don't need to kowtow to OPEC?! That's the point of China going all electric.

There is a potentially higher tax bracket? You know the GOP controlled house and senate will not pass that in a million years. You know you are such a sheep and you know how much you are used.

And natural allows plenty of time to adapt. Manmade catastrophes do not. And if it's manmade, it's preventable.
Think with your guts. You may get lucky, especially if your dad is rich. But it doesn't scale. Just look at your president.
Now, Rick may not know much about climate change, but he should be an expert on Animal Science. Let see what he has to say about cow farts. OMG, Texas is doomed - cattle and oil. And you will be battered year after year by monster storms. When those who lost their jobs and business, as a result, the state want to take away your healthcare too.
