Would you loan your cell phone to a stranger to make a call? Oct 22 2017 08:28PM more by lamar

The other day I felt sort of bad after a lady asked to borrow my cell phone and I said no. A few days later I see on the news a guy loaning a woman his phone and her making a mad dash for her car and was gone. I was talking to a friend about this situation and we came to the conclusion instead of being rude and saying no that I would place the call for them. Now I'll probley get mugged while placing the call.
What's your thoughts on loaning your phone to a stranger?

In any event, i still got a little gas left in the tank and can still run a little if i had to catch most average adults out of shape and all. Don't let the stomach pudge fool ya.
I was in Europe, just arrived, and despite having pre-arranged cell phone usage with my carrier in a series of contacts and paying extra for that service, once I landed my cell would not work locally. My contact was to meet me but I had no way to say where I was.
I asked a young woman near me if I could use her cell phone and she handed it right to me. I called my local friend's cell; she was close by and waiting.
I did, but held his wallet until I got my phone back. Hardly foolfroof, but it was a true need situation. As George Costanza once said ... "we live in a society"! I usually reply, that no good deed goes unpunished.
Betterb.... before the bolos.... I had considered saying, “this why CCWs exist.” But then I didn’t want the anti-gun freaks (the ones without a sense of humor... which is most of them) to say, “See, stealing a cell phone is not a reason for lethal force.”
So I... I thought hitting the thief with a rock on a string is funnier.
The more I picture it in my head.... the more I chuckle on the inside.
I do forget my phone from time to time. The only thing that concerns me is since my car is sixteen years old there could be a break down and I would need to call AAA. So far it has never broke down but I know there's going to be a first time.
