Do I have to pay if I can't find my car?
Dude, where's your car?
As to the subject of the blog, yeah that sucks. I have 3 cars to register as well. Gas tax going up 12 cents a gallon this week as well.
Supposedly all going to transportation improvements. That probably means the train to nowhere
+39% on my 5 cars and a truck, ouch!
BTW, gas goes up 12 cents/gallon on Wednesday, 16 cents for diesel. I'm gonna fill up everything tomorrow and save 10 bucks

The idiots who keep electing democrats to run this state deserve what they get.
Unfortunately, the rest of us have to suffer along with them.

Bicycles...let me just say bicycles.

Impeach Brown
Brown is on his way out anyway.
But if you live in State Sen. Josh Newman's district in OC, you can help by voting to recall him when it appears on the ballot.
He provided the critical clinching vote to increase the gas tax and registration fees.
Sweet, can we elect that Terminator guy again?
I don't know why anyone is surprised or upset at this massive tax increase. Californians have been voting in these asshole Democrat politicians for years knowing full well they would raise taxes on those least likely to afford to pay it. Maybe Californians will smarten up next election........but I doubt it........and the Democrat politicians are well aware that the voters are sheep just waiting for a shearing.

Let's stop building a high-speed train to nowhere.
The train isn't going to LA.
Because of engineering challenges and prohibitive costs, the necessary tunnels through the Tehachapi mountains will never be built.
Newman wasn’t the clinching vote.... he was just the most vulnerable one to vote in favor. He barely won his election... so they targeted him.
Smart move.
He should be recalled for coming out in public with that hair cut
Not sure that is completely true.
I paid my registration fee just a weeks ago, and it's been the same (+/- $5) in the last 12 years since I've owned my car.
Is anyone surprised?
Really, just look at who's running this state.
<~~~~~ not part of that "we."
'Is anyone surprised?
Really, just look at who's running this state.'
LOL!
Look at who is running your country?
Oh Frog , you're right LA isnt nowhere......but it is a sewer.
I didn't vote for the assholes behind that shit, Okie.
That train will never get anywhere near LA or SF as promissed.
How TF do you place me in the IE?
I'd move to Oklahoma first.
Frog, I always vote.
You inability to parse information is surprising.
or not.
If it is Brown flush it down. Brown refers to the governor not any race, color or creed.
Dude, get your shit straight. Had me looking up all the Gilberts.
Not as hard as Trump is laughing at you.
Stop feeding him.
^ the thing that you just can't get straight.

"I'll be back"
I'll be very surprised if one dollar gets spent on roads and highway repairs. They'll just raid the piggy bank for their own pet projects. How about spending 10% of it to get the homeless off the side walks and out of the river bed encampments.
^^^That's what the extra sales tax was for.
Man - this state is going to hell. i paid $18 at my last renewal and this time its $33.
Moonbeam can go pound sand
The state doesn't have enough money to complete the bullet train and if they were to somehow come up with the money, the masses would demand that it be spent on universal health care instead.
The federal gov't is unlikely to give this project any more money. Why would the other 49 states want to pay for this boondogle?
The project has attracted no private financing.
It's not hard to see how this will end.
Did you vote to raise taxes?
Luny tunes California ass holes in
power don't represent the people.
