Now fire his ass and send Roberts with him.
And they could've had Verlander instead!

Astros beat the 3 highest spending teams this postseason
That Kershaw's start. He was ready, plus he is their #1 pitcher... Bad choice on game 7 starter.
Last game winner take all? You throw your Best guy if he feels good. You did see the game?
He was ready..
Regardless of the crappy starting pitcher, Dodgers should of scored more than one run in game seven of the World Series.
Yea I watched the game. Darvisch was ready if you were a Astro fan.
they did hit the ball, but right at the defenders when runners were in scoring position...one or two of those get thru and this is different game
Fuck Yu
It's Lasorda's fault. He put too much pressure on the team. Says he's going to commit suicide.
Wood for the series: 6 innings, 1 hit, 0 runs. SMH

Burnsie 🤣

Other than Kershaw and Ethier, I saw a whole lot of Dodger players who seemed overwhelmed by the experience of a WS Game 7. Those Dodgers were nervous, Houston was steady. and composed. Houston was clearly the stronger team overall throughout the 7 game series. And AJ managed the Houston bullpen (a veritable arson squad) magnificently. They earned and deserved the trophy, and the Dodgers are to be credited for putting up a formidable fight (until the first two innings of game 7....and then the hitting with RISP disappeared...).
Oh well, there's always next year and I guess they can put a fork in Tommy Lasagna now....
they could very well have a rematch next year...but we also thought the indians and cubs would have one this year before it all started
The Astros didnt score after Darvish went out. Dodger players seemed overwhelmed by bad pitching from Darvish and they couldnt make a tough come back.
Darvish was no match for the Astros either game. Should of been pulled much sooner in this game, I felt early in the first if not at least after he walked in the 2nd. And what let him pitch Springer???
The lost was not Darvish fault but the Managers fault for letting him stay in when the Astros were beyond his ability this series.
Yu sucks, Bellinger swallows.
Darvish gets paid many millions to be a starting pitcher. Sure Roberts could've pulled him sooner but Darvish needs to do his job.
Girardi and Baker fired this year even though the teams they managed played well.
don't worry, another 28 years will go by qick
Dodgers favorites for 2018 title at 5-1 odds; Astros, Indians at 6-1
early odds
wait the angels are....
fucking angels
Roberts should have pulled Yu Darvish after the first inning. Yu will not return next season and if it was up to me neither would Dave Roberts.
That foty was the best part of the night.
Yeah but I l eft you the last swig.
Is game 7 tonight?
SCOREBOARD!!!!
So, what's the problem?
A team can't leave 10 men on base and expect to win a game. That was the big issue. Sure Darvish gave up those runs but the Dodgers had their chance, they just couldn't get it done.
Dodgers kept swinging for the fences instead of just swinging for a hit. Even though it’ll take four hits to get a run, it’s still a run.
But they did have a great season and has a bright future ahead of them
Roberts made so many bad calls this world series. I'm putting this on him more than Darvish. We got out managed plain and simple. Not just game 7 but the whole series.
you were hearing the dodgers were so confident that once it got to game 7 it was theirs based on match ups and extra pitchers in the pen.
once i heard that....told the wif...that was the kiss of death!!
can't do or say that shit

Darvish had been in a rut when the Dodgers picked him up. The thought they could fix his glitches and it seemed at the end of the season like they had. But in the Series the old problems came back: no movement on his breaking balls so he was serving up medium speed pitches high and in the middle of the strike zone. He just couldn't get the ball down and the Houston hitters were ready to pull the trigger on anything that came chest high knowing it was not going to break. That all being said, if the D's bullpen didn't blow game 3, Darvish never gets to throw a game 7. And Houston played a never give up style of baseball that was championship in every way.
