This is not the first report of a bit of a temper from Ms. Lorren.
It's funny there used to be another woman with a very similar handle and looks as this Ms. Lorren. But there is no way they are connected. The one I'm thinking of publicly retired and had a huge announcement and a whole bit of hullabaloo surrounded it. I recall many of her favorite HX'ers ran along side her Ryder Truck until it was out of sight on the eastern horizon.
But my friend mr sugarcane, I appreciate your desire to mix it up. And perhaps you've been wronged with an unearned ding...but is this the best type of blog to post? I'd imagine the response from the community will be harsh. But it's very quiet this morning, there is that...

harsh, harsh, harsh

I like your style, Ms. Lorren. We must articulate our policies, especially if there is a zero tolerance policy. I tell people my instability is really me being a fun loving eccentric. Let us see how your explanation plays. Because honestly, mine is rarely believed.

ISsa if it's not too late, I'd go with Doyle.

@Ms Lorren i am just mesmerized your profile pic.

As the years pass, these whole mix-ups on HX and call out blogs do little for me.
So your appt fell through. Or you were flaked on. Or were spoken to in a less than kind tone. Or whatever...it seems like ego run amok.
So now you're talking shit to mr sugarcane? Scaring the man to the point of this blog? Well I for one am not taking notes on this issue. Mainly because I find nothing noteworthy about it. But I trust some notes have been made, and now we can table this matter for the day.
On to more pressing matters...any picks to click in the NFL? I was thinking CAR+2.5 and DAL-2.5. But talk to me now...what do you have? Any important stats or trends to share with the community?

No prob ISsa. I have had my ups and downs this year in fantasy football. Just not getting the right players in the line up and end up on the losing end. This is not my year...

Heyduke i bet the opposite but then again, i could be wrong.

I did something absolutely fucking batty this year. What you're wondering? What could that crazy Duke have gotten himself into this time? Well, I'll tell ya. Entered a 12 team fantasy BASKETBALL league.
Have I ever played fantasy basketball in past? No. But I know the sport inside and out...through two weeks my team is strong and I'm constantly making moves. Ya see my friends, while fantasy football is primarily played on Sunday. Fantasy basketball never stops, never...ever. Games to be played and players that need to start.

Rams have been very kind to the bettors this season. I think they're team is quite strong.
I've been holding my own this season. Hit on my Canes yesterday.
Sad what's happened to the UO Ducks. It shows what type of genius Chip Kelly really was. I know a lot of simple-minded fans will site his NFL record and lack of playoff appearances. But I'll tell you that Chip Kelly was a football genius. He designed a system, a system so grand that basically every Division 1 team uses a form of his spread. This system that was created was such an amazing system that it could take Oregon from a top 50-60 program to the #1 program in all of college football for a five year period. Take a look at some of the undressings UO gave to USC during Chip's reign. But now Chip is no more and the Ducks are getting blitzed by the Huskies 38-0.

Uhhhh people, you might want to turn your attention to the Middle East. Shits going down.

There's another simple moral to this story. When you're dealing with a lady, treat her like one.

And Baghdad does whatever she please

Eddie Lacy hasn't done back squat! Don't ask about my football team. It's a losing season. Great record in fantasy baseball but lost in the finals. Pitchers and hitting failed to back up my great season. Had drafted Judge and picked up Bellinger when he was called up. Both of them and pitching carried me to my first dominating win loss record but doesn't mean jack squat if u don't win it all. I'm currently sitting 3rd in my fantasy basketball. Eric Bledsoe at time was on the IL and no longer is eligible so he sits there while my drafted team carries me until he's traded. Currently handcuff in making waiver moves so as long he sits in IL, i just have to run with the current team.

Oh and Ms Lorren....you did nothing wrong. Stay blessed and beautiful

Lacy is just so heavyset these days.
I was thinking some type of intervention may be in order. I remember Lacy at Alabama and his early seasons with GB. He was not fat. He was a strong runner that was on his way to a nice career. He can still right the ship, but he needs to trim down. I've telephoned HC Pete Carroll on multiple occasions and we've discussed what needs to happen. It's just getting Eddie to understand the seriousness of the problem associated his girth.
|
|
I was so excited when GB drafted Lacey. He blew what would've been a nice career. He doesn't have the mindset to play in the NFL. To bad, such a waste of talent.
|
|
Lacy will likely plow in from the 1-yard line, using his girth to steamroll a punk DB.
R Wilson is incredible. The game last week against the Texans was very good. I had Wilson for fantasy last year and he was poor through 10 weeks of the season and then got very hot and made up quite a bit of ground on the point leaders. This season he's started his amazing play considerably earlier than last season.

Whenever I'm trying to schedule a appointment and she tells me that she is fully booked, I always ask if she knows the next time she will be available. If we can't come to an agreement with the times, then I always leave with the doors open so I don't break the potential relationship. Sometime what I have seen is that patience really does come in handy. She usually remembers you and thanks you in a big way for being patient. Delay gratification is awesome!
|
|
I've also realized that changing people is tough and that changing ourselves is a lot easier. We sometimes cannot control what happens to us (someone is fully booked), but we can control our attitude and our actions (booking another time and being grateful that it happened). Has really helped me in HX and in all aspects of life.

RicRulez thank you for your response on the matter.
Let me re-read your post to fully digest it...From what I gather you're a Lorren supporter. You instruct others to speak kindly. And to also be persistent. It's good that Ms. Lorren will remember clients, if proper hints are given.
So just keep plugging away, stay positive and it'll be cool is basically what mr rules is talking. Rulez giving the rules with regard to contact and interactions with a fellow HX'er.

I am actually on no ones side. I have never met Ms_Lorren or know how she is like. I am just looking for commonsense.
|
|
Forgive the confusion on my part. When I read a blogger discuss delayed gratification and excitement that a woman remembers them, I assume they are coming out in full support for the besmirched beauty
But I now understand you are on absolutely nobody's side...in fact, you've never even met the beautiful Ms. Lorren. The community appreciates your input on the matter, you certainly had a fair amount to say. Your postings will remain unique because you have not went on the record with support or repudiation for Ms. Lorren despite the thirst from your readers for clarity from you.

Wait..... whenever I wait until the last minute and call her she drops everything and comes running.
