Why do we encourage people who do not speak our language, bring no special skills that we need and cost us in a wide array of social services to come into this country?
Give me someone who will immediately start working toward citizenship, get a job, pay taxes and not expect the government to pay for their every need and I will let them in any time.

First throw out all the Cubans including little Marco. Then open the borders to Ugandans, Kenyans and South African as English is almost universal. Great Engineers and medical personnel !! Not to mention we can now get all the Pakistani and Indian software engineers !!!

Many people around the world speak English. What good is an engineer to an American company if he/she can't speak English. I work for a company that has offices all over the world. Rarely run into anyone that can't speak 'murican. Hell, if you watch Star Trek or Star Wars, even people from other planets can speak the Queen's English.
