I get your point, fisher, I do.
But to be clear, communism is an economic system. It has been often corrupted by dictators and thus it's easy to conflate it with something like Nazism due to the violence and oppression they employed. But the two are apples and oranges simply because one is a social white supremacist belief system and the other is an economic system.
Good, non-violent people throughout the history of this country have shown curiosity in and believed in the economic principles of communism. In the 1950s, they were demonized, blacklisted and had their livelihoods taken away. I'm not a communist. I don't believe it can work for a number of reasons, but the fact is it has nothing to do with hatred, violence or oppression of any certain group of people.
However, in order to be a Nazi, white supremacist or a bigot of any kind requires hatred, the desire to oppress a certain type of human being, delusional behavior and quite often violence and terror.

In the end, we should all be able to argue and disagree with each other as passionately as we want... As long as we never try to silent those that disagree with us with violence. I can't think of anyone I disagree with more than Derby or Froggy, but I would fight to protect thier right to say stupid shit.
