According to National Security Expert for the non-partisan think tank New America and Terrorism Consultant for CNN, Peter Bergen, jihadist terrorists have killed 95 people in the U.S. since 9/11, while far-right extremists have killed 68 during the same time period, including the car attack in Charlottesville. 5. Since 9/11 until June 12, 2016, the day of the Orlando night club shootings in which 49 people were killed, far-right extremists had killed more people (68 to 46) in the US than Muslim extremists.
