Depends on your budget....and what your interests are.
Lower budget - either Cartagena / San Andreas /Colombia or Thailand imho.
Cartagena you are a 10 dollar boat ride from an amazing beautiful beach and place called Playa Blanca / Islas Del Rosario
In Thailand - you can travel all around and see the beaches and head up to the Chiang Mai/ Golden Triangle and 1000 a month would suffice for great hotels friendly people and amazing scenery.
Not on a budget ? I'd hop over to to Australia, New Zealand, head to Fiji, Maldives, ect
They also have cruises that go all around that place.
Or Bora Bora ( on my bucket list).
You could always do the TransSiberean Express ha!
That could last 9 months.
All of the above ( except for Bora Bora and Maldives which I've never been to ) are personal favs..
