Since the iPhone 5S, I believe all iPhones support both CDMA & GSM; compatible with ALL carriers. At least the hardware. Platform may be carrier locked. I'm a Windows- phone guy, not up on the apples like I should be.

Yeah, virgin mobile is going all iphone, no more android on their website, what ever is left on store shelves. After a year their plan goes to $50 a month

Looks like you have to transfer a number from a previous service. If you don't already use Sprint, you can go to OpenSignal or download their app to see how the coverage is in your area.
