I think you have to enjoy the journey. Often with distance running the long term goal ends in disappointment. There is only one person who wins the race. So the journey often is more rewarding than the destination. And even when it all goes perfect and you win the race, the elation is so short lived. So for a distance runner, the love of training will always keep you grounded. I would suggest celebrating the wins, because what's the point if we don't?

Don't get lazy, Walter. You're too intelectually curious for that nonsense. Also...the HX blogger snappin' on post length peaked in 2011 and has been basically been on life support since.
If one is going to clown post size...maybe go real old school and drop a "didn't read" meme.

You can ponder that...report back with your ideas. Some numbers for you below...
7 consecutive AFC Championship Games for Brady and Belichick...12 out of 17 years.
The only years they missed: '02 Oak over Ten; '05 Pit over Den; '08 Pit over Bal; '09 Ind over Nyj; '10 Pit over Nyj.
So we know Brady is 5-2 in the Super Bowl...that would mean he's 7-4 in AFC Championship games...losing to IND, BAL and DEN twice.

heyduke - agree with you 100%. The journey and the experience is what makes goal completion
special. Furthermore, the celebration aspect is more or so my incentive.
(Spelling Ok?)
