Obama mostly lectured, not really speeches. He also said we should seek public service and not the corner office. The Oval Office is not a corner office but still I nice office. It is okay for Obama to seek a nice office but not for anyone else.

It was a poorly written speech.
When he went for the big applauses Trump went for his strength of playing to the crowd, but when he tried to discuss rational topics, his logic (and the logic of his script writer) missed the marks.
Frequently.
For example, his quote about having more accountability by removing regulations?
WTF? Are you THAT stupid?
Even we here in our humble happy place know better than to remove the rules and regulations, or trouble happens. And the Trump kool-aide ball lickers lapped it up.
And then the right for federal government leaders to fire people who do not obey the rules... oh boy, that's just an opening for blatant fascism if I have ever heard one.

The best thing about Trump is that he's exposed just how uninformed half the country is. Their response to everything is Eff Trump! and "Stay Woke!" and Russia!.
Next to the North Koreans, they're the most shallow thinking, uninformed, brainwashed fools on the planet.

It is interesting to go to the Associated Press website and read the fact checks on his various claims.
His speech had a lot of exaggerations, outright lies, and taking credit for things already underway with the previous administration.

Why does Trump want to cut taxes and increase spending? He needs the tax money from the rich people so he can build his wall and pay for the increase in military spending that the government is planning to do. A president should know basic math that less money means less spending. Duh!
If the economy goes down and or if Trump starts a dumb unnecessary war like Bush he might be worse than Bush. We can never forget how horrible Bush was so that there is never another president like him again. 25 military veterans a day commit suicide from PTSD because of the wars Bush started. Mass shootings where innocent families have been murdered have been committed by military veterans as well because they suffered from PTSD. Look it up.
If you want to make America greater and love America and want everyone to stand up for the anthem then you should care about the lives of the brave military that serve the country. Don't support a president that doesn't care about their lives.
A president should never start unnecessary wars and throw away the lives of thousands and thousands of the men and women in the military so they can get PTSD and commit mass murder. Chris Kyle who is the guy in the movie American Sniper got killed by an army veteran too. Trump and if Trump gets replaced by Pence need to be a lot better than Bush. We should go ahead and let North Korean and Iran get nuclear weapons, let terrorists run rampant around the globe, do nothing as Putin tries to resurrect the old USSR, and allow China to close off shipping lanes so we have fewer military personnel with PTSD. That makes lots of sense.....
