Funny, fubar pushing the old line whether we are against the 1st, 2nd Amendment? So here on HX we can say anything, right? Oh gee aren't you the one that pummels us with all the subjects we can't talk about on HX. Remember that TOS? So where are my 1st Amendment rights? Banning certain portions of gun rights does not mean doing away with the 2nd Amendment, or as the knuckleheads at the NRA try to get everyone to believe, doing away with all weapons. I understand in Florida it is easier to buy an AR-47 than it is to get a handgun.

I can't believe I'm commenting on a pub blog, but here goes...
Who's arguing through emotion? Arguing through angry tears that any new gun law will be a slippery slope to "taking our guns away" is pretty emotional and illogical. Asking why we can't ban certain types of weapons isn't emotional at all. It's a public safety issue. Very logical to ask especially after a tragedy like the one in Florida.
Also, arguing that we can't touch the 2nd Amendment doesn't make sense either. It's called an AMENDMENT! Look up the word!

Since we are supposed to be looking up definitions, might I suggest you also look up the Bill of Rights. These amendments aren’t to some business contract or purchase agreement, but to our Constituion.
