It's a Cinderfellas story!
That event should have ended in the first week.
More time to check out the hotties in figure skating.
There were some definite hotties in figure skating. During the pairs ice dancing, yea I know a bit gay, some of the ladies garments under the skirts rode pretty high up like a g-string. I appreciated the artistry of the skating more than the asstistry.
I noticed the Italian hottie was not wearing panties.
Not sure if any them do.
Al Bundy was watching T.V. and Jefferson asked Al why he is watching "Friends". Al replied because if you turn the sound down and watch with binoculars you can see Jennifer Aniston is not wearing a bra. Could watch pairs figure skating the same way. Though you might get some bulge shots from the men.

Anyone know when the hurling comes on?
Midnight
Exciting curling going on now. This is almost as good as the Women's gold medal hockey game.
Nothing like a good upset
Nice double knock out by the U.S. team to end round 2. This is really cool.
^^^IT'S CURLING!!!!
If you're that jazzed, go sweep your kitchen floor.
I don't know if it's a sport or a game. It is definitely the most exciting thing I'll never watch.
To invent this somebody really had to be bored.
Curling has been around since the middle 1500's. They used just slide flat river rocks. Then they put finger holes in them in the 1600's kind of like a bowling ball. I do not know why but I like it.
Psst it's cause your gay.
U.S. wins curling gold. Fuck you all you haters. Man I need to get a life. Not gay, just curios.
pretty cool
i'd play, but i ain't sweeping...maybe 30 years ago

Olympic results for the U.S.: Snowboarders won as expected, David Wise won half pipe skiing gold again, Women's Hockey won gold in a great game that they were the underdogs in. Vonn choked hard, men's and women's figure skating choked hard, Bobsledders choked hard. The most unexpected win was U.S. men's curling.
Curling is such a tough guy sport they gave the US men gold medals that said... "Women's Curling" on them. Someone up above was tryin to tell those guys to get a life for quite a while.
So the Koreans screwed up again....this Olympics has had its moments, including weather messing up schedules and the network making numerous mistakes in 'awarding' medals before events were over.....
Does Schiffrin get half the gold medal?
I can understand N. Korea borrowing skis, but the Czech Republic??
And NBC had basically cut away from the event and had announced the top three finishers....
OOPS....then come back and show her run and the astonished look on her face.
The network then whenever cutting away from any competition then announced if there were any changes they would be coming back....egg on the face....LOL.
NBC is always disappointing in their coverage of the Olyimpics. I'd like to see someone else buy the rights and try to do a better job.
Yes, this has been one of the worst coverage of the Olympics in quite some time. They bounced events back and forth between NBC and NBCSN and it was nearly impossible to set up a DVR to record stuff, since they did not always stay true to their schedule.
Shiffrin is freaky in her interviews. I bet she's wild in the sack.
Neither will you and neither will I...so your comment is almost worthless..... But I guess you totally get off being negative....
And I get to watch you swallow the entire hook, line and sinker.......Mr. Negative.
Now go mess up some other blogs....I know you will.....
yep...go read and blog about the new memo
I agree the coverage was a bit messed up. I would flip between the 2 stations and just look for the ""Live" in the upper right hand corner of the screen. I really enjoined watching this year. Johnny Weir's outfits were very well put together. I wonder where I could by outfits like that?
I found them a little garish for my taste
The problem with Johnny and Tara....it all became about THEM and not the competition. Their comments were often so over the top and their antics and outfits were more of athletes and not commentators....just needed a little more decorum to my taste.
I liked Tara and Johnny. I would rather have 2 people like that with a bit of personality then a boring
commentator like Scott Hamilton. Many time times Johnny told it like it was. If a skater's performance sucked he would come out and say it was disastrous instead of sugar coating the mistakes.

Viewership for the current Olympics on NBC is down 24% compared to Sochi among viewers aged 18-49, the age demographic most coveted by advertisers. (NBC notes that the demo is actually down only 15% when including viewers from both NBC and NBC Sports Network, which is airing prime time coverage of the Winter Games for the first time.)
So looks like NBC gamble is NOT paying off.
Women's gold medal curling on right now. Solution for better ratings, more curling.
I am fine with telling it like it is...
But the gushing and over the top commentary gets a little old.
Another reason for the ratings drop is the big time difference. All you have to do is get online and see who won. For many people that is good enough. I like to watch and if that means staying up late and getting up early to go to work then so be it.
gilbert, the time difference plagues every Olympics....
It truly looks like the ratings are going to be really down, NBC will not be able to sell its ads for the high price needed to cover their rights costs and they will lose their fannies on future Games.
