Wayne Newton for sure !

I guess it depends on how you define “influence.”
1. Pac - brought together talent, message and depth
2. RunDMC - brought rap to the masses like no one before them. They were the ones that started crossing othe genres (pop, rock) with rap.
3. NWA- the first to make rap about a message. Pioneered gangsta rap. Led an underground rap movement. They were leading a counter culture movement through rap for the first time.
4.Grand Master Flash - caused rap to evolve musically.
5. JayZ - brought many of the pieces others pioneered... put them together an marketed like no one before him.
Honorable mention: Sugar Hill Gang... they were not the first.... but they were the first to really make a mainstream impact and introduce rap to pop culture.
To compare Pac with Elvis or the Beatles is a big stretch. Tupac impacted a genre. Elvis, The Beatles and Michael Jackson took over popular culture in their time.
He was a trailblazer in rap.... and impacted hip hop.... but the 3 listed above crossed cultural/racial/ generational/international lines. We may never see influence on that level again.
If he had lived.... he might have made that kind of impact but Elvis, Beatles and MJ stand alone when it comes to influence.

Let's get real here.
No order.
KRS ONE (New York Influence)
Chuck D (New York Influence)
Too Short (Bay Area Influence)
Luke Skywalker (Miami Influence)
Eazy E (West Coast L.A. Influence)
Then we must note the pioneers like Melle Mel and Afrika Bambaataa
And don't forget Zapp and Roger. Their music has been sampled by everyone.
True pioneers.

You’re right
The bridge is over,
Bass! How low can you go?
Death row, what a brother knows,
These are the tales the freaky tales
Of course we so...okay ...
And respect yourself
