I met him in Beverly Hills at a movie premiere of a movie based on his book. The line to meet him was 80% women. I think he got a few hundred phone numbers so he could swing with them - this was pre-HX.
Got his autograph too! He really didn't have ALS - he uses that to con the women and attract the ones that like to nurture these types of guys. That is why he lived to a relatively old age - the ALS was all an act.
Hot damn! My first edition with his autograph is going to be worth millions! This was pre-cell phones though, so I don't have a selfie with him.

Nevermind the aliens, according to Hawking it is Artificial Intelligence that we should be concerned about and that we have about 600 years left to find a new planet to slowly destroy once this one is all used up.

The only problem is getting a certificate of authenticity for his autograph in a first edition. Don't know why that is so difficult to get. But I know a notary public in Texas who will certify anything. I'm betting that notary will do it for cheap too!
I watched all the women in line at the premiere got to sit on his lap and get a ride in the wheelchair - he called his chair, "Winged Victory" and claimed that he always was "winning" with it. That is when I figured out his ALS was an act and I asked for his autograph instead of a ride in his wheelchair.
We did tequila shooters afterwards. After he got loaded, he told me he did a threesome with Mayim B and Danica McK since they were both at UCLA at the time when he visited and he always wanted to do it with a neuroscientist and a mathemagician who were hot actresses. I think they worked on his Unified Theory For Everything.
