re: fisherwright, interesting about Egypt/Israel wall. Big differences though to what trumpy wants to build. The E/I wall is only 440 miles long. US already has 700 miles of fence/wall. Border with Mexico is 1900 miles long. Trumpy wall approx twice per mile to build than E/I wall.

Really simple - wall is over priced and useless. Maintaining it will waste the money you pay in taxes instead of laying for actual services you need from the government. Rich get richer, poor get poorer.
The quality of life in America will go down, and illegals will no longer want to live in shit hole country.

i have seen another interview from 2016...trump said could not take a check from mexico, but reworking the trade deals or taxes would pay for wall
