I just saw this 1959 movie on TV last night. Harvey Weinstein would have fit right in. The Louis Jourdan character was a handsome version of Weinstein as a Broadway director instead of a Hollywood mogul. The whole movie was a series of examples of men behaving badly. The only male character with any scruples seemed to be the guy that didn't take advantage of the drunk lead character after she found out her fiancé just married someone else. Times have changed, but not everyone has.
