Seriously?
Yes seriously, its front page of the Huffington Post
(and I don't admire serial killers, I think they are interesting...I'm the most empathic person ever so people who are extreme outliers are strange and fascinating from a scholarly viewpoint)
So he didn't kill anyone?
He didnt, but he coerced the Manson girls and Tex Watson to kill for him, he was running a cult and was the "guru" thus he could somewhat mind control and manipulate others to kill for him. But as far as anyone knows he did not kill anyone or commit the Tate-Labianca murders.
Charles Manson did cut Gary Hinman's ear off and ordered Bobby Beausoleil to strangle him. And he did tied up the LaBiancas before ordering Charles Watson, Patricia Krenwinkle, and Leslie Van Houten to stab them to death. Also Manson, Bruce Davis, and Clem Grogan did kill Shorty Shea at Spahn Ranch. So yeah, Manson is a murderer.
I said that, but he was totally a manipulator and insane if anything, he totally brainwashed the family he's not a good guy but the girls and Tex etc were the ones who actually did the killings

Interesting fact, "Never Learn Not To Love" by the Beach Boys on their 1968 album "20/20,"
was written by Charles Manson. Manson and Beach Boys drummer Dennis Wilson use to be friends.
Good riddance to that PoS. Glad we're not wasting public money feeding and housing his ass anymore.
Yep and Manson's album "LIE" is actually pretty decent folk music, he had a gravely folk up in the hollers of West Virginia kind of voice; if he hadn't succumbed to some type of mental illness ( he was severely physically and sexually abused in childhood teenage years also as almost all serial killers are) he could have made it in the music industry.
Glad I don't have to pay for his meals any more.
10050 Cielo Drive, the address of where Sharon Tate and 4 others where killed, actually use to be the home of music producer Terry Melcher. Dennis Wilson actually had Melcher meet Manson, to see if he would be interested in his music but Melcher passed on it. A year later, Manson probably thought Melcher still lived on Cielo Dr. and sent his followers to murder him for passing on his music.

Did you Charles Manson had 6 toes on his right foot?
His life took an ugly turn after a game of “This little piggy” went awry.
So this means I won't be able to buy Mason Jars anymore?
Has anyone notified JD?
Nor can you buy that mansion in Beverly Hills you really wanted. Life is tough for rats around the holiday...MAGA

So, what did that end up costing?
The world is a far better place with bastard gone!
Kinda sad to me really.
The guy was a genius .
And exactly HE NEVER KILLED ANYONE!
I do NOT agree with a lot of this documentary, but it is interesting nevertheless to get some grasp of the history of all this and the background of Manson and the vitriolic culture that spawned people like him,
'Charles Manson SuperStar'

Ashley watch "Charles Manson Superstar" you'll love it, he was a product of the prison-industrial complex and was very abused as well as in and out of prison from age 8, he was very intelligent but very mentally ill as well coupled with being institutionalized.

Some Sonic Youth and Lydia Lunch fits the theme

As a Jewess and Choctaw/Creole woman, I find Hitler incomparably eviler, I hate Nazi scum and everyone else should as well, white pride people too, not cool! Obviously, Manson is not a great nor perfect human being but Hitler is like a 100000 on the evil chart, while Manson is somewhere in the middle to high-hundreds
Umm, having a hard time picking role models??
You have a Harley Quinn type personality. I love it..
PM sent.

A genius? Please explain

I had a chance to talk to a guy that was a criminal psychologist once. We were on a cross country flight so we had time to kill. He had interviewed several serial and mass killers all around the world.
Of all those killers, Manson was the only one that he was ever actually scared of. He described it as being in the presence of real evil.
Criminal Psychology is fascinating and I study it extensively, how wonderful I would have loved to chat with him!
I would totally work as a criminal psychologist but I hate cops too much so Sociology major it is!
Never saw the big deal or fascination but I used to go a club called Helter Skelter.
*FYI by chat with him I meant the Criminal psychologist not Manson
Did he leave behind any HX points?
Sort of stupid fascination..
Consider the vast number of folks incarcerated in our prisons for drug abuse. These people have never committed a violent act, yet they sit in our prisons system (costing taxpayers $$$$).
If you had any inclination of helping society, why not start with them.
I am for the victims and I give a shit about the victimizer. And, for the record, I think anyone convicted of a possession charge, that is not distributing, is a victim in our criminal justice system.
But ur dumb... hot but dumb.

I have actually had a chance to meet and chat with the 3 Manson "girls" back in the late "80's"
while visiting an inmate at the Calif Prison For Women in Chino.
We happen to all be in the same visiting room at the same time. So the lady I was visiting asked if I wanted to meet them. Extremely nervous at first, but then I realized even though its not something to brag about, the "Manson Murders" will become part of California's history.
So I met them.
Susan Atkins
Patricia KrenWinkel
Leslie Van Houten

He should have had his ticket punched years ago but instead the taxpayers of California paid to keep his miserable ass alive all these years.
Dude should have faced a firing squad around 1971...
