How painful is the tape removal?

Done it a few times. I suspect that the risk of a hidden camera (placed by the unit owner) is higher in one of those than just about anywhere else.
On the other hand, the OP is really hot . . .

Just did one in northern CA and it was spectacular. The host (owner) was super sweet and we didn't even know she was there.

I have heard good things from people and used them personally and never had to pay a deposit like some people have. Legally they cannot record you without your knowledge so anything they did find, if they did have one, they could do fuck all with. That being said I would be concerned with nosy neighbors and lack of clean towels.

it can be a little nerve racking taking a family half way around the world and not having shit work out when you get there...so lucky in that respect...view was not too bad
go with highly reviewed places to protect yourself

Thank you Ladies and thank you Gents! Especially for the humor! The tape doesn't hurt unfortunately (a little pain I like), it is made for that sort of thing. The AirBNB is more so for a trip I am taking and planning on booking for a month. The price comparison with hotels is a no brainier. It is not for work necessarily but would like to have that option available. I would be renting the entire place so not a room thing. I have heard a lot of good things but figured I would get the opinion of like minded individuals Thank you!

Not sure the actual source, but do know sister in law got to New York to find she was scammed.
But that is how I have felt about every purchase I made from there. Cameras coming without batteries, next purchase dead battery etc...in the old days before Amazon.
The places we have gotten in Hawaii have always been a great deal and surprising the extras such as surfboards, snorkle stuff etc....

Ah friend took family to Italy a couple years ago for a few weeks traveled all over, had a great time no problems.

If your a sex worker an get caught useing it for ur wrk. It can backfire an they will keep ur $ and kick u out and ur SOL.. i have seen a lady using one for wrk but nothing happened.. but there is aways that chance they catch you.

Become platinum and u can have endless upscale hotel-apartments at all times.
I’ve gotten $1000-$4000 a night presidential suites for $200-$300. So worth it!!!
Ultra upscale and it’s a true vacation for you and your date.

How to become SPG platinum? There is a special challenge right now, but u must call and sign up. Basically u stay at a W, Sheraton or Westin for 13 days within a few months and you become platinum. Normally it requires 25 days. Hurry and do it so u get locked in! It has seriously changed my lifestyle without making a dent in my pocket long term.

AirBnB I used it on my trip through Europe two years ago and again this year.
I absolutely love it.

I use it for my properties and have only had 1 nightmare experience.
I was compensated for the incident so it made it worth my while still.

Tried to use it once and the rules were outrageous!
Curfews and they wanted a list of any guests I might have.
I said F that!
At least with a hotel, I know what Im getting.

I've had too many negative AirBNB experiences to use the service again. I even had a situation where a person said I caused damage to their home in order to try and extort money. I won the case, but it still was a horrible overall experience. Never again!

seems like airbnb is a decent buffer for problems that can occur...one issue we had with airbnb was on the review process...we wanted to post some pics and give a great review, but since we were in the middle of our vacation we ran out of time to get it done with no means to add it later.

I have heard about those scams that shady owners try to pull.
Take pictures of everything when you get there as well as when you leave.
I do this with rental cars and it has saved me a few times.

that worked out great when we turned in leased car a few years ago...wife had video of car in and out of the car when they tried to pull shit...still took a few months to for them to correct their fraud, but smart phone saved the day
