A woman told the story of her husband's pursuit of her. He asked her out on a date ten times before she said yes. They now have been happily married for twenty five years. In this day and age the second or third time he asked her she would have had him up on sexual harassment charges.

Idk about this one.......... People may as well say it's all fair until it's not fair for you. I'll explain my thoughts from what I have seen personally...
It's always after "I got mine". There have been incidents in the office where everyone knows that the new girl banged the boss and got a promotion that would take a year or two to get and that chick won't complain that she got harassed because there was something to be aquired from the situation.
Everyone knows that shit aint fair but the joke is to call it affirmative action and that really is how people should see things. If you are on equal footing with someone else in a race then you say fuckit I'm going to pull out my minority trap card and use that to get ahead; be if you are a person of color or have nice tits and vagoo. I'd say it's easier for a woman to do this because they don't even have to try most times; guys are just willing to fuck regardless and in every sense of the word. Your goal is to get something out of it and not walk home butthurt, broken and compromised. Treat these situations in life like a game of hot potato except that instead of a spud it's a dildo covered in glass and the the loser has to go fuck them self. Fuck and don't get fucked.
Anyway, the reality is that it's only harassement when a person of similar or equal power is put down to a level that demeans them and makes them feel uncomfortable. So that aspiring actress won't complain now, BUT if she now established a career, then it's deemed innapropriate if you were to pull this shit on her.
The sad fact is that there is too much at stake. No one wants to lose their job over some shit no matter how serious because there is still a lot of step climbing to go. You can't afford to take the hit, financially or careerwise. If you are established and stable then that call that shit out whenever you can because you are now able to afford to take the hits however they come to you.
I get tired of hearing people talk about the idea of workplaces vs the reality of work places. As a whole, things are waaaaaaaaaaaaay better than they were 10, 20 or 30 or more years ago and to not say that things haven't progressed is to stick your head in the sand and cry bullshit with your ass cheeks flapping in the wind.
I'm not saying what's going on is good, by all means it's not, but it's part of a moral and legal gray area that we all walk in every day.

Marriage is a sham anyway. No one here is a farmer living in the dust bowl so there isn't the need for a wife to shit out a few more helping hands. No one here is royalty, or has property or wealth that a group of lawyers couldn't help broker deals with so need to be married for that.....unless some have not gold digging birch wants to dip out of the hoe game.
Guys do it simply because they can and why not? All I hear from married guys is how their wives just stop putting out. When it comes down to it, marrying a woman is like buying a Porsche that turns into a gremlin over time. The upside is that it can make cars too but you really don't know if you'll have a family of photos. Maybe one of them will be a Ferrari, who knows. I'd rather lease fwiw. Maybe I'll eat my words when I'm 60 and lonely.
Anyway men are bad and hoe life is the high life just don't be upset if the man you settle for is also dipping out on you to see women on the side. He paying your bills too right? What would the meta be on that?
