you are crazy to short a mania. Your risks are unlimited. It might be a good time to learn about PUT options. Their premiums might be crazy high but might be worth taking shots at way out of the money PUTS on Bitcoin when they become available.
I buy way out of the money S&P puts every month or so. A small nuclear war, a presidential and Vice presidential impeachment and conviction, firing of Mueller all of which could cause a 2000 plus drop in the market overnight. I intend to profit from any coming chaos but with a defined risk.

can you elaborate how this is a Ponzi scheme? are you talking about bitconnects? or bitcoin as an asset class? You made a broad statement that makes no sense or has no real material. your statement is like saying "all men are gay". Where it may be true for a small subset of males it isn't true for the whole.
Bitconnects is truly a Ponzi scheme, getting recruits to get more recruits to rob Peter and pay Paul.
I am a believer in Bitcoin and run a mining operation that makes 5 bitcoins a month.
