I think Flynn will serve a term of 30 to 90 days unless he has documentation and video beyond his own testimony that would impeach and convict Trump. I'd rather he served no jail time and just be drummed out of the Marine Corp like the British Army would do.
Picture....a slow roll of drums. A junior officer cutting off all ribbons and rank with his sabre. Two parallel lines of Marines of all ranks at attention. Flynn...stripped of all honors and ranks forced to walk between them. And as he passes each individual, the marine executes an ABOUT FACE !
As for Trump...just hang him for high Treason ! After impeachment , trial and conviction of course !

You are so Wrong. More than a dozen Nixon Watergate defendants went to jail. some for multiple years. They were generally convicted of the same offenses Mueller is currently prosecuting such as lying to Congress. lying to the FBI and the big one Obstruction of Justice. Nixon himself was headed to the pokey but Ford pardoned him. This was all about a domestic political break in and cover up. The current investigation involves aiding and abetting a foreign power. There could be charges up to and including High Treason.
Obama didn't do anything remotely illegal He had the cleanest administration we have had in years despite millions of dollars spent investigating by the GOP. Before that was Bush. he was just stupid. Nothing illegal about that. In his younger years he was guilty of numerous felonies but his Daddy kept everything off the books including being AWOL from the national guard. Clinton got impeached for blow jobs, Immoral yes...illegal probably not. He probably answered Monica this way. Monica: Mr. President would you like sex or a blow job ? Bill: I'll take the Blow job but my cigar would love some sex... . The GOP investigated Bill for years, when they couldn't get him on white water or any of a dozen cockamamie things they tries they ended up with blow jobs.
Let's see first Bush was pretty clean. Reagan had Iran contra which North got out on a technicality because he got immunity from congress. I think others went to jail for a bit. Carter had at least one guy go to jail and Carter's brother I think was convicted of a DUI. Ford didn't have time do anything really wrong except pardon America's now second biggest presidential crook !
If you go back a century about half the administrations had one or more members go to jail. More often than not it is true the president came out more or less untouched. This one we'll have to wait and wee.

I honestly don't chime in much on blogs...but I cannot believe the mindset of many members here who believe wholeheartedly in the leftist views of social justice, the extremely tainted media narratives from CNN, MSNBC, NYT, etc, being hurled into the mainstream, and the masses are lapping it up. Folks, there is a systematic effort to undermine the Constitution in this country, and it is NOT coming from the right. Do your homework. Read the treaty agreements that Obama forced the USA into with NATO. Look at the worldwide effort to disarm the populous that the left-wing politicians are selling us in this country today. Look at the virulent effort to increase the size of government through taxing and spending on social programs. If none of you can realize that the policies of the left are what has caused your wages to stay stagnant for the last 10 years, your net worth to plummet, while the corporations become rich conglomerates, you have been asleep for the last decade. This is classic fascism in progress and none of you see it, because they cloak the message in promises that they can't deliver, and they deflect with nasty terms like "racism," "fascism," "white privilege," and such, but in reality, they (and the media) are the only ones using these terms. It's like an abusive relationship...they relentlessly push their point of view on you in highly manipulative ways until you believe it's true.
They promise you all the happy, feel-good, seeming moral concepts of socialism, but don't tell you what it really amounts to (your own demise). They are fooling you to vote that it's okay to steal something from someone (money) because someone else is "entitled" to it. Once they make you dependent on the government, they disarm you, then they enslave you (think 60% tax rate, twice the price for an economical car because of levy's/taxes: ask Norway, Sweden, and much of Europe). This is the very thing immigrants who come to this country are trying to get away from in their homelands, only to be duped by the Democratic party into voting for the same measures that caused their current situations. Stop listening to the media. Look at history. It's beginning to repeat itself.
