The rich pay the most taxes, so it is blatantly obvious they will benefit the most from cutting taxes. People who pay little or nothing can’t benefit... they are already having other people pay for our government and various benefits.

If you add up all the people that make $100,000 or less that pay taxes it totals about 12% of all taxes collected
|

I love how people who pay little of the total tax burden are insanely jealous of those who might get a reduction for the huge amount of taxes they pay.

This is the reality of the tax burden. The top 1% make 21% of the total adjusted gross income but pay almost 40% of the taxes.
The bottom 50% make 11% of the total income but pay less than 3% of the taxes....and they complain about 'fair share'.....really???

We might not have a 'broken' society if people stopped whining about everything and bitching about the rich and actually got a good education and a good job. It is amazing what hard work can get you.

I hate Trump but I cannot lie. its going to make me even more money. Since I moved to Canada. I hold most of my US assets including the sale of my principle residence in an "S" corp. Unless the NYT and the LA Times are both faking the news, it appear S corps will pay a max of 20 percent while you chumps still working will pay upwards of 30% on incomes over 100K or so. I will also be allowed to deduct everything ( unlimited property tax) including my trips down here to "inspect" my properties !  !
Gotta love it while it lasts.
And of course nobody has read the bill. The GOP didn't allow hearings or public comment. It's not law yet but I am very confident that the S corp exception will survive committee. Their are rumors that there is a real estate exemption as well put in just for Trump that will reduce what was once taxed as ordinary income down to a 14% max. Here is hoping !!!

For diversion, he just did a Jerusalem. The analysis is that white working class support isn't great. He got the support of whites across the spectrum, decreasing with education and income. May I ask what's good for America if Israel moves capital? Peace? lol. I predict the US will pay with American lives.

SixD, I assume all who can write here read the headlines. I think I won't be misunderstood whatever shortcut I use. And for supporters, it means loud fans for the white working class who aren't benefiting from tax cuts. For other whites, supporters mean voters. That's called overloading in languages.

You have no idea. First, there is the Chinese Internet Army, who posts on every board it has an interest. But it was lame. Then, there are the Russian Sleeper Trolls. Once woken up, they behave just like locals who use any means to influence elections. You can see them in action here who never say any rational or irrational reasons why they voted for. Next, there's the new AI Trolls who are designed to blow their fuses, being deployed in a very specialized testing ground.

The GOP is the problem. They will use any means to keep them in power to push their agenda, eg, Moore.
White working class support for Trump is a myth. It's the white middle class who voted for him, the majority decreases with increased education and income. I would think if your kids are in private schools and private universities, you are qualified voting for GOP. There aren't that many. Keep cutting public education will sure keep the GOP in power.
I'm not saying DEM is not the problem. But producing informed voters can't be bad.
Voting for white identity is really stupid. GOP is all green. They are people color blind. When they need cheap labor they go brown. MMMM - make me more money.
