I’m all about watching it burn now. My absurd hope that some R’s would vote against that ludicrous cash grab of a tax bill was my last thread of hope, and that’s gone.
I doubt Trump will actually get indicted. If the tax bill hadn’t passed then maybe. But now that they’ve managed to pass some major legislation, they’re still going to cover for him. He may get asked to quietly resign over some “health issues”, but I’d be surprised if he actually ever has to stand in court.

Trump needs to be worried. Now that the Oligarchs have their tax bill; throwing out Trump and Pence won't bother them much. If they can do it by June they will have Ryan to get down to their next agenda item, ending Social Security and Medicare as we know it. Top oligarchs will short the hell out of the market and make billions on the 2020-2021 depression. The Fed will be all Federalists society picks and will keep interest rates such that every last cent is wrung out of the middle class. It's going to fun to watch ! The wild card will be if Trump can start a limited nuclear exchange when he feels the wall closing in on him.
As far as the SF verdict. its pretty hard to prove murder when the person was killed by a ricochet. Why they didn't get a conviction for negligent manslaughter is beyond my understanding.
