A talented musician. It's been 10 years since Dan Fogleberg passed away.
His music style was soft rock, some of his better know songs are :"Part of the Plan" "The Power of Gold" "Longer" "Same Old Lang Syne" "Hard to Say" "Leader of the Band" "Missing You" "Make Love Stay" "The Language of Love" "Rhythm of the Rain"
I'm sure everyone has heard one of his songs in an "elevator"
I found some content in his songs. Not just elevator music. Leader of the band and same old Lang zyne stand out. Also Run for the roses was a moving song about the Kentucky Derby with perhaps a deeper meaning. But then again I am old and nostalgic
Explain it to me. Heavy metal bands on trial because **** commit suicide, what is that about? Judas Priest on trial because my *** bought the records, and he listened to the lyrics, and he got into Satan... ALLALALALALALLALA! Well that's great. That sets a legal precedent. Does that mean I can sue Dan Fogelberg for making me into a pussy in the mid '70s, is that possible, HUH? "Your Honor, between him and James Taylor, I didn't get a blow job 'till I was twenty-seven years old. I was in Colorado wearing hiking boots, eating granola. I want some fucking money right now!"
