Israel has THEIR government in Jerusalem...so the logical thing is to put your embassy in the capital city...DUH!!!!
That would be like the rest of world wanting to put their embassies in Sacramento, even though Washington DC is our capital.
The Jerusalem Embassy Act of 1995 is a public law of the United States passed by the 104th Congress on October 23, 1995. But that law was never put into effect by our government.
Trump is actually just following the law passed by Congress....so I guess all of the Presidents from 1995 to present are the idiots.....

He is moving the embassy to Jerusalem. He doesn't need the U.N. to approve that...
If I recall, that was his promise...so when the embassy is actually moved, he will have kept one more promise......
