I think the issue with the apostrophe is an HX thing, not an apple thing.

If you haven’t updated iOS.... that will fix it.
It is a bug in iOS. They fixed it 2 or 3 updates ago (sometime in November)

But you never copy and paste, right? I was under the impression everything coming from your handle was completely original and free of plagiarism. All of your comments are original entries from The Great Chief to his HX people. Please do not tell me you have a lower born tribesman handling anything other than promotion. I was told it was just in the promotional department and only on holidays.

dblednmike, there may be a similar HX thing, but I confirmed with someone experiencing the issue that the setting change for keyboard smart punctuation fixed it on their iPhone, and they are now able to post correctly.

Well you got more than you bargained for, because until Marian gets back her $5000 dollars, the esteemed Dr. Jones, Professor Emeritus of Archaeology at University CA Berkeley has a goddamn partner.
The picture discussed above is the greatest action / adventure movie ever made. I'll listen to the merits of other contenders that y'all might suggest to be superior. But be warned...I'm a bit of a movie expert.

If you are seeing this with copy/paste, it is probably because the source you are using has "smart quotes" or a setting on your computer or phone is set to autoreplace using smart quotes.
See if using Paste As -> Plain Text helps. Or paste into address bar of browser first and then re-copy and paste into HX post.
If still not working, Google your device, operating system and application settings for smart quotes and turn them off and it should work properly on HX.
On Mac platform, it is in many places:
Check that Safari -> Edit -> Substitutions -> Smart Quotes is NOT checked.
Check that System Preferences -> Keyboard -> Text -> Smart Quotes is not checked.
Same for System Preferences -> Language -> Keyboard
