Hitler proved that if you have 20% of the populace dedicated and willing to do anything for a cause you can run an entire country. The Orangutan in chief has 30% plus a propaganda arm that reaches even more. Do you really think the Trumpies, the Klan, The Oligarchs and the alt-right will just roll over if the 2018 or 2020 elections threaten their power ? They are trying to pack the courts so if the Dems win in 2018 they can claim voter fraud. Of course with Putin's help it may not even come to that. A few broken voting machines, the change of a few bits in results tabulations, a few incidents of violence at the polls, none of which is beyond Putin's reach can keep congress safely in the GOP hands even if they are trounced at the polls. Have fun southerners !

NO, this time they wore khakis and carried Tiki torches. If Trumpies would just say they will accept the results of the Mueller investigation and the next two election cycles then I would consider American democracy safe but that's not going to happen.
By the way you can still freely assemble, protest non violently, and watch Fox news. When the Trumpy's unpopularity gives way to a massive Dem victory in 2020 and the second Amendment is repealed or modified, you have to promise to give up your guns as required by the new law or at least register them with extreme limits on the types of weapons and ammunition allowed. No I don't think so.

Whether we elect an idiot or an Einstein, it is our process and we will continue free elections at all levels, local, state and national. Anyone suggesting anything else, just stay away.

By the way I can still vote. I have duel citizenship but not California any more. I am registering in low tax state that is still competitive and where I own property. Plus, I will come and go as I see fit.

By the way I am advocating the Republican process. ( If the US was a democracy, Clinton would be president). What I am asking is whether YOU would honor the Republics laws if the second amendment was repealed ?

Do you really believe this country would change the second amendment?
If you studied your civics in school, you know it must be proposed by 2/3 vote of both houses and then ratified by 3/4 of the states....that is only 13 states that would have to disapprove and the amendment dies.....
I will bet you any amount of money that this won't happen in 2018 or 2020....and probably NOT in either of our lifetimes....

No the 2nd amendment will not get repealed.
Not sure if the Dems will even win in 2018, but we'll see.

I laugh every time I read someone posting this or that is going to happen in 2 years.
First it was Trump would be impeached in less than a year. We all know he was never going to since some of us know the process and, well, you know.
Then it was he would be impeached before his 2nd year was over. Same as above.
Then it was he is going to jail. No way that will happen.
Then it was he will never win re-election in 2020.
Sheesh. Put your crystal ball away and see how it plays out. You know none of you have any idea what really happens in Washington and definitely no idea how the American people will vote in 3 years. That was proved that last election.

Glad you entered the fray. Can’t stop the extreme lovers and haters of our current and most recent presidents. Common sense, facts and rational thinking rarely outweigh extreme ideology here on the good ole interweb. Sometimes it’s hard to figure out what someone actually thinks or what is being said simply for effect.
Doesn’t really matter. It’s all entertaining. Opinions are like armpits. Everyone has a couple and some of them stink.
I enjoy your comments in other places.... so please continue to add here.
